ELLA Burroughs

“Whatever you do, do it well.. Do it so well that when people see you do it, they will want to come back and see you do it again, and they will want to bring others and show them how well you do what you do.”

― Walter E. Disney

Ella has been singing since she could talk and has taken private vocal lessons since she was 9.

She is a member of her schools select choir and performs annually at the Jazz and Classical NH All-State Music Festivals.  Ella is very active in musical theatre through school and a local community theatre.  Some notable roles have been, Cosette - Les Miserable, Mrs. Harcourt - Anything Goes, Marian - The Music Man,  Ariel- The Little Mermaid, to name a few. She is also the 2019 Granite State NATS, Lower High School Division Classical winner

As a part of her continual music education, Ella is always working to strengthen her music literacy skills. She is proficient in Solfège, and sight reading which help her perfect her pitch and be able to hear and sing harmonies. Trained as a Soprano, Ella has a wide range and enjoys singing everything from classical to pop to rock.

She is learning to play by ear on the keyboard and has recently taken an interest in the guitar.

Ella is exploring her options for future "vocal focused" schools and will be attending Boston Conservatory at Berklee's Summer vocal intensive camp for a second year. Crescendo's Gate is her first group effort and she is grateful for the opportunity to share what she loves with her bandmates, audience and fans.
